Guideline for Submission
• The submission must be in the specific format(s) as specified in the assignment brief instructions.
• The assignment should be submitted in a word format, or equivalent.
• The assignment has TWO parts. Please read both parts carefully.
• Ideally, you should start writing your assignment as soon as you receive the assignment brief. You are expected to complete Part 1 before Week 7 and obtain formative feedback from your Assessor during teaching week 7 and 8.
• It is also recommended, you complete Part 2 before Week 13 and obtain formative feedback from your Assessor during teaching week 13 and 14.
• There will be only one submission link in Turnitin. You are required to compile Part 1 and Part 2 into one Microsoft Word file for submission. Please refer to indicative layout given in Canvas.

Submission Format: Part 1
The assignment is to be submitted as an individual report. The work must be clear and concise, stating what the problem/issue is, and include a summary of analysis and recommendations.
All your work must be supported with research and referenced correctly using the Harvard referencing system. You also need to provide a reference list using the Harvard referencing system. Inaccurate use of referencing may lead to issues of plagiarism if not applied correctly.
The recommended word limit for the briefing paper is 1000-1500 words, although you will not be penalised for going under or exceeding the total word limit

Vocational Scenario
You have been hired as a business consultant by a large multinational company (MNC) operating in UK. Currently, the company is experiencing a number of challenges including poor employee performance, high resignation rate leading to negative balance sheet during the last two years. The company’s CEO assigned you to write a report proposing strategic initiatives for changing the company’s organisational behaviour and culture. You should recommend a relevant leadership approach for enabling organisational change.
In part 1, you will need to produce a report which includes the following:
• Critically analyse the different drivers and types of organisational change and provide a range of contemporary examples.
• Critically analyse how leadership and individual behaviour in organisations can be affected by change.
• Critically discuss the impact of change at individual, group and organisational level, evaluate the psychological impact of change on people and the implications of change.
• Critically evaluate the impact on team dynamics and how people are led and managed.
• Critically evaluate measures that can be taken to minimise negative impacts of change on organisational behaviour.
Submission Format: Part 2
The assessment is in the form of an individual written report.
• Write in a concise, formal business style using single spacing and font size 12.
• You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs and subsections
• All work must be supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system.
• Provide a bibliography using the Harvard referencing system.
• The recommended word limit is between 1500 words.

Vocational Scenario

• Critically evaluate different leadership approaches and models for models to change initiatives for given situations.
